Field Trip to John Day: Grant County Historical Museum

The first stop was at the Grant County museum, called Grant County Historical Museum.
This is a photo of a photo, very well done by Judith Beaudet Reed. The students even located some sheep in corrals (my eyes aren't that good!).

After the museum, students took a snack and recess break in Canyon City's beautiful park before we walked to the Train Barn.

Hank and Reta Guernsey used to load this organ in the back of a wagon to carry to various ranches in Bear Vally for the dances that were frequently held.
